About David...
David has lived in Shenfield for nearly 30 years and was elected as Councillor for Shenfield in 2023. He is an award-winning financial journalist and author, married with four grown up daughters and two granddaughters and, as well as singing with various local choirs, he is a season ticket holder at Leyton Orient. David has been an active member of many faith, arts, sports and community groups over the years, most recently supporting Ukrainian refugees and promoting action to improve the environment across Brentwood. He helped form the Chelmsford Road Area Residents Association, serving on its committee.
