Cllr Nicky Cuthbert
Nicky was brought up in Brentwood and attended The Grange and the Ursuline High School, Brentwood. She trained as an accountant and then worked for many years in school administration (Registrar and finances) for an international school. More recently, she has worked for local charities in Shenfield where she has lived since 2004. Nicky has been a councillor for Shenfield since May 2022 and has fought tirelessly for a better deal for its residents and businesses.

Cllr David Worsfold
David has lived in Shenfield for nearly 30 years and was elected as Councillor for Shenfield in 2023. He is an award-winning financial journalist and author, married with four grown up daughters and two granddaughters and, as well as singing with various local choirs, he is a season ticket holder at Leyton Orient. David has been an active member of many faith, arts, sports and community groups over the years, most recently supporting Ukrainian refugees and promoting action to improve the environment across Brentwood. He helped form the Chelmsford Road Area Residents Association, serving on its committee.

Ward Campaigner
John Singh
For over 35 years John has dedicated himself to working with children, young people, and their families, striving to make positive changes. Supporting various local and national charities has motivated him to participate in 7 London Marathons, over 60 half marathons, and numerous fun runs. He serves as a Magistrate and has been a school governor for over 16 years. John was awarded the MBE in 2016 for services to charity and work with disaffected young people in East London.
You can’t replace 200 years of nature. Liberal Democrat councillors led a protest at a proposal to cut down a 200 year old oak tree in Priests Lane, Shenfield as part of the development plans for the former Ursuline Playing Fields.
