Boris Johnson deliberately misled parliament over whether COVID lockdown rules were broken in No 10.

The committee has boiled down its list of transgressions to five key points:

1 - Deliberately misleading the House

2 - Deliberately misleading the committee

3 - Breaching confidence

4 - Impugning the committee and thereby undermining the democratic process of the House

5 - Being complicit in the campaign of abuse and attempted intimidation of the committee

Liberal Democrat Perspective Parlimentary Candidate David Kendall said: 'The report on former Prime Minister Boris Johnston's conduct before the House of Commons is utterly damning. While the people of Brentwood suffered, Tories partied. One question remains: what did our MP know, and when, as Johnson's parliamentary private secretary at the time? We expect clear and unequivocal answers- unlike those of his former boss, Mr Johnson."
