New Pillar Box for Clements Park, Brentwood, agreed by Royal Mail

Lib Dem action by Cllr Karen Chilvers has led to agreement for a new pillar box in Clements Park.

Following an informal resident consultation, lobbying and a site visit on 9 January 2019 with the Royal Mail Collections Manager, a brand new post box has been agreed in order to serve residents.

Cllr Chilvers says:

"It will be located in the centre of the estate, somewhere around the junction with Vaughan Williams Way and Pastoral Way. giving everyone much improved access to postal services some time in the next six months. I have already had emails from residents telling me how pleased they are - some have waited 15 years just to be able to drop off birthday cards on the estate where they live!

"I am pleased to have been able to make it happen."
