With the Brentwood pothole situation seriously out of control, we look at some of the most notable potholes in Brentwood:

My favourite pothole is this one in Brook Road. It was bad enough in January when I first reported it but now, in August 2012, Essex County Council's lack of action has made it a real feature of the local landscape.

Despite visiting, agreeing it needs attention and marking it for repair, they have no idea whatsoever when it will be repaired and are very reluctant to enter into correspondence with me about it.

Please watch if you walk past with small dogs or children.
