Respected Councillor Mark Lewis is standing for re-election after a successful four-year term. He has lived in Brentwood since 1985 with his wife, bringing up two daughters whilst working full-time in the financial services sector in London.

Mark and his wife Jayne set up the Escape Animal Sanctuary (a registered animal rescue charity mainly for horses, but also for sheep, donkeys, goats, pigs and other animals), which is open to the public to visit.

During his four-year term Mark has taken action on many issues in the ward, including planning, crime, fly-tipping, potholes, environmental issues, speeding and support for the elderly, homeless, and those in need, and intends to continue his excellent record of direct action during his next term.
