Lib Dem Councillor action clears Warley path for residents
Residents in Warley have been forced across the road on Warley Hill after a 200+ metre length of footpath was entirely obscured by overgrown vegetation originating from a disused NHS site. This popular route to local schools, doctors and churches needed to be put back into use.
After making enquiries with Brentwood Borough Council it was clear this vegetation should be managed by the landowners and contact with the NHS to keep this clear in future is in progress.
However, in the meantime your Liberal Democrat team was able to secure Brentwood Borough Council’s tractor and hedge cutter to undertake a one off cut of this hedge to get the footpath clear and safe again.
